Our elementary students that represented Colegio Madrid in the 7th Spelling Bee of the Zona 517 did an excellent job!<\/p>\r\n
In the \u201cA\u201d category, our student from 1\u00ba grade Hannia Nava Porras won first place! She studied hard and had a great performance in the contest. In the \u201cB\u201d category, it was a hard battle since all the students that represented the schools of the zona knew all the vocabulary and it took a long time to eliminate them. Laura Res\u00e9ndiz Hern\u00e1ndez came up in third place after spelling many many words. \u00a0 <\/span>Congratulations to both!<\/p>\r\n On Monday March 13th we handed out the Diplomas to the winners of each group, each grade and our grand winners! This English project, that is in its second year, has made all the students work\u00a0 <\/span>in the process of improving their spelling and widening their vocabulary while having fun.<\/p>\r\n \u00a1Primer y Tercer lugar en el 7\u00ba Concurso de Spelling Bee de la SEP!<\/p>\r\n Las estudiantes de primaria que representaron al Colegio Madrid en el 7\u00ba Concurso de Spelling Bee de la Zona 517 hicieron un trabajo excelente.<\/p>\r\n En la categor\u00eda \u201cA\u201d Hannia Nava Porras obtuvo el primer lugar. Estudi\u00f3 mucho y con su desempe\u00f1o en la competencia mostr\u00f3 que era la mejor de su categor\u00eda.\u00a0 <\/span>Hubo una gran batalla entre los estudiantes que representaban a sus escuelas en la categor\u00eda \u201cB\u201d ya que todos dominaban el vocabulario. Laura Res\u00e9ndiz Hern\u00e1ndez termin\u00f3 en tercer lugar despu\u00e9s de muchas muchas rondas.\u00a0 <\/span>\u00a1Felicidades a ambas!<\/p>\r\n El lunes 13 de marzo se entregaron los Diplomas a todos los ganadores de grupo y grado y a nuestras finalistas.
