Plastic pollution presents a serious threat to biodiversity, particularly for marine life.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the Integrated Learning class the kids made a flower with a plastic bottle of water.\r\nFirst, they gathered the materials, then they cut the plastic bottles and gave them petal shape and form and, finally, they painted the flowers.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Teaching kids about recycling is not only important for the environment, but also for their future.\u00a0Recycling reduces the amount of waste that ends up in landfills, which can take hundreds of years to decompose. La contaminaci\u00f3n por el pl\u00e1stico representa un serio problema para la biodiversidad, principalmente la vida marina.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En la clase de Integrated Learning los ni\u00f1os hicieron una flor con una botella de pl\u00e1stico. Primero recolectaron los materiales, luego cortaron la botella de pl\u00e1stico y le dieron la forma de p\u00e9talo y la figura a la flor, y finalmente la pintaron.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ense\u00f1ar a los ni\u00f1os acerca de reciclar el pl\u00e1stico no es s\u00f3lo importante para el medio ambiente, sino tambi\u00e9n para su futuro. Reciclar reduce la cantidad de desperdicios, los cuales pueden tardar cientos de a\u00f1os en descomponerse.
