The Drinkwell Jar<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

The Drinkwell Jar is an essential tool for teaching primary school children the importance of adequate and balanced hydration. Knowing what type of beverages to consume, and in what quantities, helps them develop healthy habits from an early age, which is key to their physical and cognitive growth and development. It also raises awareness about the impact of sugary drinks on their health. Teaching them to follow the recommendations of the Jar provides them with solid bases for making healthy choices in the future.<\/p>\r\n

To reinforce this learning, our 6th graders worked on this important topic during the Integrated Learning class. Through a diversity of activities and strategies, the children showed their previous knowledge and what they had learned in their lessons, and they reflected on the importance of drinking water instead of sugary drinks. They also learned the vocabulary related to the topic and its pronunciation.<\/p>\r\n

Finally, they drew a picture of the Drinkwell Jar, showing the correct amounts to drink, as well as their respective names. It was a very good activity where they consolidated and reflected on what they had learnt.<\/p>\r\n\"\"\r\n

La Jarra del Buen Beber<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

La Jarra del Buen Beber es una herramienta fundamental para ense\u00f1ar a los ni\u00f1os de primaria la importancia de una hidrataci\u00f3n adecuada y equilibrada. Conocer qu\u00e9 tipo de bebidas deben consumir y en qu\u00e9 cantidades les ayuda a desarrollar h\u00e1bitos saludables desde una edad temprana, lo cual es clave para su crecimiento y desarrollo f\u00edsico y cognitivo. Adem\u00e1s, fomenta la conciencia sobre el impacto que tienen las bebidas azucaradas en su salud. Ense\u00f1arles a seguir las recomendaciones de la jarra les proporciona una base s\u00f3lida para tomar decisiones saludables en el futuro.<\/p>\r\n

Para consolidara este aprendizaje, los estudiantes de 6\u00ba a\u00f1o trabajaron este importante tema en la clase de Integrated Learning. A trav\u00e9s de una variedad de actividades y estrategias, los ni\u00f1os mostraron sus conocimientos previos y lo que hab\u00edan aprendido previamente en clase, y reflexionaron en la importancia de beber agua en lugar de bebidas azucaradas.<\/p>\r\n

Finalmente, ellos dibujaron la Jarra del Buen Beber, mostrando las cantidades correctas que se deben tomar, as\u00ed como sus respectivos nombres. Fue una estupenda actividad en la que consolidaron y reflexionaron en lo que hab\u00edan aprendido.<\/p>\r\n
