They are creating a pen pals network.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Since last school year, when they were in 6th grade, there has been written communication with students from a small village in Kenia. The students at HAMOMI school are getting to know about our students\u2019 life in Mexico and especially at Colegio Madrid, and the students, who are now in secundaria, are finding it very interesting to learn how different their lives are. The topics have been varied: traditions, school and transportation, amongst others, using English as the tool to communicate their interests and opinions.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-25691 size-full alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/madridcomunica.comwp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/PENPALS-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"137\" height=\"200\" \/>In elementary some 6th grade students are beginning their correspondence with a school in Vancouver, Canada. We have just received their letters and some small presents that show their interest in beginning this friendship.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los estudiantes de primaria y secundaria est\u00e1n descubriendo c\u00f3mo la interculturalidad les ayuda a forjar lazos de amistad alrededor del mundo a trav\u00e9s de la correspondencia escrita.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Desde el a\u00f1o escolar pasado, cuando estaban en sexto grado, han tenido comunicaci\u00f3n escrita con estudiantes de una peque\u00f1a aldea en Kenia.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-25692 size-full alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/madridcomunica.comwp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/PENPALS-2.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"292\" height=\"200\" \/>Los estudiantes de la escuela HAMOMI est\u00e1n conociendo sobre la vida de nuestros alumnos en M\u00e9xico y especialmente en el Colegio Madrid, y nuestros estudiantes, quienes ahora est\u00e1n en secundaria, est\u00e1n encontrando muy interesante aprender cu\u00e1n diferentes son sus vidas. Los temas han sido variados: tradiciones, escuela y transporte, entre otros, utilizando el ingl\u00e9s como herramienta para comunicar sus intereses y opiniones.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En primaria algunos estudiantes de sexto grado est\u00e1n comenzando su correspondencia con una escuela en Vancouver, Canad\u00e1.
