Precisely because of that and the implications that it has in nowadays\u2019 world, is that in Junior High School we chose the topic of Migration for our annual event.<\/p>\r\n

Human migration is what shapes the world in which we live in and it results in different situations related to politics and international finance; social interactions that might lead to xenophobia and racism, among others. The study of this issue is of particular relevance if we want to form empathetic and critical persons, aware of the reality of others, and who feel compassion for human misery.<\/p>\r\n

\"\"The projects developed by first, second and third graders embraced different types of migration, such as those caused by political factors, climate change, civil and military wars, dictatorships, and the failure to develop one\u2019s capabilities in the place of origin due to social or economic reasons.<\/p>\r\n

First and second graders\u2019 work is exposed at Secundaria and third graders\u2019 posters were displayed at Unidad Cultural, as a foretaste of what were their presentations in the Auditorium.<\/p>\r\n

\u201cRecuerda, siempre recuerda, que todos nosotros, t\u00fa y yo especialmente, descendemos de inmigrantes y revolucionarios\u201d son las palabras de Franklin D. Roosevelt. Precisamente por esto y las implicaciones que tiene en el mundo actual, es que en Secundaria escogimos el tema de la Migraci\u00f3n para nuestro evento anual.<\/p>\r\n

\"\"La migraci\u00f3n humana es la que moldea el mundo en el que vivimos y resulta en diferentes situaciones relacionadas con la pol\u00edtica y las finanzas internacionales; interacciones sociales que pueden conducir a la xenofobia y el racismo, entre otras. El estudio de este tema es de particular relevancia si queremos formar personas emp\u00e1ticas y cr\u00edticas, conscientes de la realidad de los dem\u00e1s, y que sientan compasi\u00f3n por la miseria humana.<\/p>\r\n

Los proyectos desarrollados por primer, segundo y tercer a\u00f1o abarcaron diferentes tipos de migraci\u00f3n; tales como aquellos causados por factores pol\u00edticos, cambio clim\u00e1tico, guerras civiles y militares, dictaduras, y el fracaso para desarrollar las capacidades de uno en el lugar de origen debido a razones sociales o econ\u00f3micas.<\/p>\r\n
