Paper Art in second grade

All the groups of 2nd grade made a paper art activity with their teachers in their English class. The objectives of this project were several: to learn about Chinese and Mexican Art; to follow short instructions and to put into practice the difference between compare and contrast when talking about both countries. The students enjoyed the class very much and participated by giving their opinions and points of views regarding the customs and traditions of these two countries. To end the activity they made their own version of this paper tradition.

Los grupos de 2do grado de primaria hicieron una actividad de arte en papel con sus maestras en la clase de inglés. El proyecto tenía varios objetivos: aprender acerca del arte chino y mexicano, seguir instrucciones cortas; poner en práctica la diferencia ente comparar y contrastar cuando se habló acerca de ambos países. Los alumnos disfrutaron mucho la clase y participaron dando sus opiniones y puntos de vista respecto a las costumbres y tradiciones de estos dos países. Para finalizar la actividad ellos realizaron su propia versión del papel picado.
