Following directions

For this activity, we drew a big map in the yard with images of some places that we had studied in our class. Students had to read, understand and follow the written directions to get to a specific place and tell the teacher what was the place to check if they had arrive to the correct one. If not t they had to try again and if they did they could go and look for a new one.

This was a wrap up activity to consolidate what the students had learned in unit 4. They loved playing it and enjoyed the activity because they felt it like if they were really walking around a city!

Siguiendo direcciones

Para ésta actividad, dibujamos un mapa grande en el patio con imágenes de algunos lugares que habíamos aprendido en clase. Los alumnos tenían que leer, entender y seguir las direcciones escritas para llegar a un lugar en específico y decir a la maestra a donde llegaron para revisar si habían llegado al correcto. Si no, tendrían que intentarlo de nuevo y  si lo hicieron podrían ir a buscar un nuevo lugar.

Está fue una actividad de cierre para consolidar lo que los alumnos han aprendido en la unidad 4.

Les gustó mucho jugar y disfrutaron la actividad porque sintieron que estaban realmente caminando en la ciudad!
