Open class in Nursery
It was time to present to parents how we work with our lovely little ones. Our Nursery open class was presented last June 21 in our English classroom. We sang Hello with Sammy the puppet, and the kids answered some questions like: What’s your name? and How are you today? These little kids were able to answer by saying Today is Friday.
We sang and danced some of the songs we learnt in class, such as Days of the week, We all fall down and Five little monkeys. The students were able to come to the front, put and name colours on the whiteboard. They also named and put noses with different shapes such as circle, square, triangle and star, on clown faces.
Our last activity was to count coloured butterflies and the students had to place them on flowers, then, count them and pick up the corresponding number and put it below the flower.
The students did a great job and it was a great morning in the company of their parents.
Clase abierta de Maternal B
Llegó el momento de presentar a los padres de familia cómo trabajamos con los más pequeñitos del Colegio, en la clase abierta de inglés de Maternal B.
Esta se llevó a cabo el 21 de junio en nuestro salón de inglés de preescolar, donde cantamos Hello con nuestro amigo Sammy el títere. Los pequeños contestaron algunas preguntas de Sammy tales como ¿Cuál es tu nombre? y ¿Cómo estás hoy? También fueron capaces de decir el día en el que estábamos: Today is Friday.
Todos cantamos y bailamos algunas de las canciones que aprendimos en clase, como Days of the week, We all fall down y Five little monkeys.
Nuestros pequeños pasaron al frente, ubicaron y nombraron todos los colores en el pizarrón, identificaron varias figuras geométricas y colocaron las narices de unos payasitos. La última actividad fue contar mariposas, y ellos practicaron los colores y los números del 1 al 5.
Nuestros pequeños hicieron un gran trabajo y fue un momento maravilloso que disfrutamos en compañía de los padres de familia.
