Certificate Award Ceremony – Cambridge English: First
We congratulate our students on their well-deserved success. The Cambridge English: First certificate is an important tool which will help them achieve their future professional goals.
September 20 was an important date for the School and the English Academy, as 57 of our students from high school received their Cambridge English: First certificate.
Roxana Jimenez, English teacher and coordinator in our high school, addressed these words to them:
«We are here today to honor your hard work and all the effort that you have put into learning a second language. We know that regardless of your personal motivation, your preparation, and the reasons why you have done it, we are positive that also your teachers have always supported and encouraged you. We are hoping that we can do that with all the generations from now on.
Today we are giving you your First Certificate and this is an important tool that is going to help you in your professional life and it is just the beginning of the prospect for many projects. We are hoping that you also want to do something further than this, and probably get another certification for the advanced learners.
What we have done here at School has planted the seed in you, and we are part of the goal you have achieved today.

Felicitamos a nuestros estudiantes por su merecido éxito. El certificado Cambridge English: First es una herramienta importante que les ayudará a alcanzar sus futuros objetivos profesionales.
El 20 de septiembre fue una fecha importante para nuestro Colegio y la Academia de Inglés, ya que ese día 57 alumnos de nuestro bachillerato recibieron su certificado Cambridge English: First.
Roxana Jiménez, profesora y coordinadora de inglés en nuestro bachillerato, les dirigió estas palabras:
«Estamos hoy aquí para honrar su trabajo y todo el esfuerzo que han puesto en aprender una segunda lengua. Sabemos que además de su motivación personal, su preparación y los motivos por lo que lo han hecho, creemos que sus maestros siempre los han apoyado y motivado. Esperamos poder hacer lo mismo con todas las generaciones de ahora en adelante.
Hoy les estamos entregando su Cambridge English: First y es una herramienta importante que les va a ayudar en su vida profesional y es sólo el comienzo de sus planes para muchos otros proyectos. Esperamos que también quieran continuar con este camino y tal vez obtener otra certificación para el aprendizaje avanzado de esta lengua.
Lo que hemos hecho aquí en el Colegio ha plantado la semilla en ustedes, y somos parte de la meta que han alcanzado el día de hoy.
