Bulletin board in secondary
Along each school year, teachers and students create different kinds of bonds which allow the process of learning to take place. These bonds are necessary and important for students to feel comfortable and motivated to learn and to participate in everyday activities that may boost their knowledge.
Trying to reinforce the relationships between teachers and students, we presented an activity where all the community was able to participate and which opened the possibility for the students to feel a little closer to the people they work with every day.
Today’s teachers were once kids and students and this activity offered teachers and students the possibility to talk about their experiences in life and at school; for students to feel more connected or identified with their teachers and for teachers to let students know about the time when they were young and used to go to school.
In this activity, students had to look at the photographs presented and try to guess which teacher each one belonged to, although there were no clues, they had the opportunity to ask questions to the teachers so that they could guess.
In short, everyone really enjoyed this bulletin board.
Lazos
Periódico mural en secundaria
A lo largo de cada ciclo escolar las y los alumnos y maestros crean diferentes tipos de vínculos que permiten que el proceso de aprendizaje se lleve a cabo. Dichos lazos son importantes y necesarios para que las y los estudiantes se sientan cómodos y motivados a aprender y participar en las actividades diarias que les permitan estimular su aprendizaje y aumentar su conocimiento.
Con el objetivo de reforzar las relaciones positivas entre docentes y alumnos, realizamos una actividad en la cual pudiera participar toda la comunidad educativa y que ofreciera la posibilidad de que las y los estudiantes se sintieran un poco más cercanos a las personas con quienes conviven día a día.
Las y los profesores de hoy fueron estudiantes alguna vez y esta actividad abrió la posibilidad de diálogo entre ellos y sus alumnos para hablar de sus propias experiencias, tanto en la vida como en la escuela.
En la actividad, las y los jóvenes observaron las fotografías y trataron de adivinar a qué profesor o profesora correspondía; ya que no había pistas, pudieron hacerles preguntas que los ayudaron a adivinar.
En definitiva, todas y todos realmente disfrutaron este periódico mural.
