Project: Time Management
The project of the first term in the English class, for our students in first and third semester, consisted on making an analysis of the main distractors that interfere with their learning process and time management.
They had a conversation with their classmates in which they recognised many of the attitudes and behaviours that lead them to get lower academic performance, for example, lack of organization skills and procrastination. After sharing their personal circumstances, they came up with tips and ideas to help them improve the situation and they designed a poster in which they listed the tips they considered useful to get a better and efficient time management.
The students then presented their poster to the rest of the group, making some considerations about their own necessities, habits and the way they were going to put these tips into practise.
They all agreed that it was easy to recognise the distractors, but not as easy to get rid of them.
Proyecto: Uso del tiempo
El proyecto de este primer bimestre de la clase de inglés, para nuestros alumnos de primer y tercer semestre de bachillerato, consistió en hacer un análisis de los principales distractores que interfieren con su proceso de aprendizaje y manejo del tiempo.
Conversaron entre ellos y reconocieron las diferentes actitudes y comportamientos que los conducen a obtener un bajo desempeño académico, como por ejemplo la falta de organización y la procrastinación. Después de comentar y compartir sus circunstancias personales se dieron a la tarea de en pensar en estrategias que les ayuden a contrarrestar esta situación y así, diseñaron un poster en el que plasmaron esos tips que ellos consideran les serán de ayuda para obtener un mejor y más eficiente manejo del tiempo.
Al final, los alumnos presentaron su poster al resto del grupo, haciendo algunas consideraciones respecto de sus propias necesidades, hábitos y la forma en que llevarían estos tips a la práctica.
Todos estuvieron de acuerdo en que había sido más fácil reconocer los distractores, que deshacerse de ellos.
