Prácticas Escénicas. Movimiento y Expresión
El pasado 26 de febrero, como parte de la asignatura de movimiento y expresión, las alumnas y alumnos de 4°, 5° y 6° realizaron sus “Prácticas Escénicas”.
La actividad consistió en compartir con sus compañeras y compañeros de generación -más otra generación invitada-, las coreografías trabajadas durante varias semanas en el escenario del auditorio de la Unidad Cultural del Colegio.
La actividad, además de tener como objetivo el desarrollo de habilidades interpretativas, creativas buscaba hacer énfasis en el aspecto emocional y social que éstas conllevan. Subirse a un escenario no es fácil; la confianza y seguridad para hacerlo son también habilidades que se practican. Además, nos interesa la contraparte, es decir, aprender a ser un público respetuoso y empático que sepa acompañar. El ejercicio fue recibido con entusiasmo, nerviosismo y mucha alegría por los participantes. La recepción fue muy buena; las chicas y chicos solistas, en equipos y desde el público ¡lo hicieron increíble!
¡Muchas felicidades a las profesoras, Celia y Andrea, y a todas y todos los estudiantes de 3°, 4°, 5° y 6°.

On February 26th, as part of the subject of Movement and Expression, the students of 4th, 5th and 6th grade performed their ‘Stage Practices’. The activity consisted of sharing the choreographies they had been working on for several weeks on the stage of the auditorium of the school’s Cultural Unit with their classmates – plus another invited class.
The activity, as well as having as its objective the development of interpretative and creative skills, was trying to emphasise the emotional and social aspect that these entail. Getting on stage is not easy, the confidence and security to do so are also skills that are practised. We are also interested in the counterpart; in other words, learning to be a respectful and empathetic audience that knows how to go along with. The exercise was received with enthusiasm, nervousness and a lot of joy by the participants. The reception was so good; the girls and boys as soloists, in teams and from the audience did amazingly well!
