2nd grade: Readers “The New Dinosaur”

At Colegio Madrid we are fascinated in developing and fostering reading skills through planning activities related to the age and interests of our students. As a result, they enjoy and learn from the context, facts, and details of the information. Moreover, when they collaborate by using their imagination in creating their own crafts.

2nd graders had a great time reading the book “The New Dinosaur”. They entered into a world of a museum where different types of dinosaurs were the protagonists. They relished the opportunity to exchange their knowledge with their peers and acquire new information as well, having a meaningful learning process. In addition, they used their own critical thinking to produce and write their sentences related to the content of the book.

2° grado: Readers “El Nuevo Dinosaurio”

En el Colegio Madrid nos apasiona desarrollar y fomentar la lectura mediante la planificación de actividades adaptadas a la edad e intereses de nuestros alumnos. Como resultado, disfrutan y aprenden del contexto, los datos y los detalles de la información. Además, colaboran usando su imaginación para crear sus propias manualidades.

Los alumnos de segundo grado se divirtieron mucho leyendo el libro “El Nuevo Dinosaurio”. Se adentraron en el mundo de un museo donde diferentes tipos de dinosaurios eran los protagonistas. Disfrutaron de la oportunidad de intercambiar conocimientos con sus compañeros y de adquirir nueva información, lo que les permitió un aprendizaje significativo. Además, utilizaron su pensamiento crítico para elaborar y escribir oraciones relacionadas con el contenido del libro.
