Recycling and Nutrition

As we know, it becomes increasingly necessary to learn English. Students realize the importance of this language as a tool for their academic and professional development, as well as to help them to communicate with people around the world.

In English class and as an excuse for the practice of the language, last term junior high school students worked on two very important and current topics that were: RECYCLING and NUTRITION. They worked with the necessary vocabulary in order to express their ideas; they read short texts and practiced the grammar structures inherent to the themes.

As a closure the students made posters inviting to recycle, nutritional pyramids in 3D, restaurant menus and balanced menus for three meals a day.

The students showed their enthusiasm in their work that was exhibited with great success and many congratulations on tables and screens outside the middle school Principal’s office.

Rebecka Annette Larsson Arizmendi.

She is currently a junior high school teacher who has helped many of our students learn English for the last 37 years.
