The curiosity is bound to take us to encounter new environments
It is widely accepted that NECESSITY is the mother of invention. So is CURIOSITY, but at a superior level. The transformation and effect that space journeys, and cave exploration have on the human body and mind are the ideal channel to acquaint our students with the fact that our curiosity is bound to take us to encounter new environments where the human race can thrive. The exponential development of the human intellect, stimulated by the information age, will allow human dispersal to a pace never witnessed before. Thousands of years ago, the early humans took an intellectual leap: to think beyond ‘the here and now’. Beyond what is simply needed to survive. This truly human capacity is what has fuelled the curiosity of modern humans to expand out of their familiar environments when the planet tests them like never before.
Es ampliamente aceptado que la NECESIDAD es la madre del descubrimiento. La CURIOSIDAD también lo es, pero a un nivel aún más elevado. La transformación y efecto que tienen los viajes espaciales y la exploración de cuevas sobre el cuerpo y la mente humanas son el contenido idóneo para mostrar a nuestros alumnos que nuestra curiosidad ha de llevarnos al encuentro con nuevos entornos donde la especie humana pueda sobrevivir. El desarrollo exponencial del intelecto, estimulado por la era de la información permitirá la dispersión humana a un ritmo nunca antes visto. Hace miles de años, los primeros humanos dieron un salto intelectual: pensar más allá del aquí y el ahora. Pensar más allá de sus necesidades inmediatas de sobrevivencia. Esto es precisamente lo que ha alimentado la curiosidad de los humanos modernos para extenderse más allá de sus ambientes habituales cuando el planeta los ponga a prueba de maneras desconocidas.
