Advertisements are not only commercial tools, but also forms of communication in which emotions, values and needs are involved. We live in a society saturated with information and advertising, so it is essential to understand how this influences our decisions.
During the Integrated Learning class, 6th grade students reaffirmed what advertisements are, the elements that compose them and their usefulness. Through videos, they learned about the history of advertisements and they were able to see some examples from years past. Then, they worked in teams to design their own advertisement and presented it to the rest of the group.
In addition, by creating an advertisement in teams, they developed skills related to collaborative work, creativity and problem solving. This exercise teaches them about advertising, and it also promotes collaboration, negotiation of ideas and time management.
It was, undoubtedly, a very fun and creative activity, full of wonderful ideas.

Los anuncios no son sólo herramientas comerciales, sino también formas de comunicación en la que intervienen las emociones, valores y necesidades. Vivimos en una sociedad saturada de información y de publicidad, por lo que es fundamental comprender cómo esto influye en nuestras decisiones.
Durante la clase de Integrated Learning, los alumnos de 6° año reafirmaron qué son los anuncios publicitarios, los elementos que los componen y su utilidad. Por medio de videos, las y los alumnos conocieron la historia de los anuncios y pudieron ver algunos ejemplos de publicidad de años anteriores. Posteriormente, trabajaron en equipo diseñando su propio anuncio publicitario y lo presentaron al resto del grupo.
Además, al crear un anuncio en equipo, las y los alumnos desarrollaron habilidades de trabajo colaborativo, creatividad y resolución de problemas. Este ejercicio les enseña sobre publicidad, y además promueve la colaboración, la negociación de ideas y la gestión del tiempo.
Indudablemente fue una actividad muy divertida, creativa y llena de maravillosas ideas.
