“The apple of my eye”

Responsible, patient, happy, wise, tolerant, brave, kind, intelligent… and more. These are some of the adjectives which 2nd graders describe their teachers.

Young English learners are thankful for having great teachers at Colegio Madrid. In this activity, they colored an apple as a symbol of gratitude and wrote a message to their favorite teachers including all grades and subjects. Some students had the chance to hand out the apple.

In the text, children wrote 3 characteristics which identify their fair haired one; in other words the apple of their eyes. Teachers are important and essential in children’s education. We consider that if we co-educate within the context of family- teachers- and school, we build up a great educational environment for everybody.

“Mi mejor Teacher”

Responsable paciente, alegre, sabia – sabio, tolerante, valiente, amable, inteligente y más. Estos son algunos de los adjetivos que los alumnos de segundo grado utilizan para describir a sus docentes.

Los jóvenes estudiantes de inglés están agradecidos por tener excelentes docentes en el Colegio Madrid. En esta actividad colorearon una manzana como símbolo de gratitud y escribieron un mensaje a sus maestras y maestros favoritos incluyendo a todos los grados y asignaturas. Algunos estudiantes tuvieron la oportunidad de entregar las manzanas.

En el texto, escribieron 3 características que identifican a su mejor profesora – profesor; en otras palabras a su mejor Teacher. Los docentes son importantes y esenciales en la educación de las niñas y los niños; consideramos que si coeducamos en el contexto de la familia, las maestras, los maestros y la escuela, construimos un excelente entorno educativo para todos.
