Bulletin Board in Middle School: Learning about our planet Earth.

In Middle School there is a very interesting bulletin board about the I.S.S. (International Space Station), where students can admire some photographs and learn about our world and space.

Tweets from Space

Some years ago it was just unthinkable to get instant messages and photographs from space, right into our computers. Thanks to Twitter, Facebook and the will of one man, this is an astounding reality.

Commander Chris Hadfield is one of the astronauts that are living in the I.S.S. (International Space Station) as part of Expedition 34. Every day he posts impressive videos of experiments they do onboard, pictures of the crew and their every-day life, and what astonished me most, beautiful photographs of the Earth… and they seem to be taken from a fantasy tale. China, The Bahamas, Australia, Mexico, Brazil and England are only some of the countries that are captured with the camera of this engineer that enjoys spending his free time on the I.S.S. sharing his views and comments from space with more than 440,000 followers on the mentioned social networks.

These photographs allow us to see our planet from a totally different perspective and to forget about everyday problems, admiring the wonders offered by nature from the comfort of our home. Besides their recreational use, I am sure that the educational uses of these photographs and experiences are countless so I invite you to follow Chris Hadfield on Twitter or Facebook and enjoy these photographs as much as I do.
