The last Olympic Games, held in Rio de Janeiro, were much more than moments of prowess which would be applauded by fans around the world, and tears for the sad defeat.

This Olympic Games will be remembered as the first to welcome a team of refugee athletes. The Refugee Olympic Athletes Team was made up of ten men and women of different nationalities, with something in common: the need for having to leave their homeland to survive the ravages of war.

This bulletin board aims to present these athletes, who despite the adversity they had to face, worked hard to overcome their destiny and accomplished this commendable feat.

Los pasados Juegos Olímpicos llevados a cabo en Río de Janeiro fueron mucho más que momentos de proezas celebradas por fanáticos alrededor del mundo, y lágrimas por la triste derrota.

Estos Juegos Olímpicos serán recordados como los primeros en recibir a un equipo de atletas refugiados. El Equipo Olímpico de Atletas Refugiados estuvo conformado por diez hombres y mujeres de distintas nacionalidades, con algo en común: la necesidad de haber tenido que dejar su patria para sobrevivir a los estragos de la guerra.

Este periódico mural pretende presentar a estos atletas, quienes a pesar de las adversidades que tuvieron que enfrentar, trabajaron duro para superar su destino y lograr esta loable hazaña.
