Worms!
The Integrated Learning class has an approach in which the learners bring together prior knowledge and experiences to support new knowledge and new abilities. By doing this, the learners take advantage of their skills and apply them to new situations of their day to day.
The topic of worms was an excellent way to relate their prior knowledge to English vocabulary. They really enjoyed working with the worms and learning about them. They were also able to identify and name the parts of the worm in English through videos, pictures and songs.
To close the topic, they made a paper worm which they had fun playing with.

La clase de Integrated Learning (Aprendizaje Integrado) tiene un enfoque en el que los alumnos reúnen conocimientos y experiencias previas para apoyar nuevos conocimientos y nuevas habilidades. De este modo, los alumnos aprovechan sus competencias y las aplican a nuevas situaciones de su día a día.
El tema de las lombrices fue una forma excelente de relacionar sus conocimientos previos con el vocabulario en inglés. Les gustó mucho trabajar con las lombrices y aprendieron sobre ellas. También fueron capaces de identificar y nombrar las partes de la lombriz, en inglés, mediante el uso de videos, imágenes y canciones.
Para cerrar el tema, hicieron una lombriz de papel con la que se divirtieron jugando.
