A recipe
In the Integrated Learning class we have continued working on a variety of topics considering different subjects.
In Spanish during the second trimester, the students had a class on how a recipe is structured. In addition to learning the characteristics and steps needed to follow a recipe, they wrote a recipe to make «Sweet Sushi». In the last part of the class they made it and ate it very happily. Their comments were very positive.
When we had the class «Con la ciencia sí se juega» we also took up and recycled the topic of the recipe and used the same steps to write how to make slime.
As the months went by, the students became more confident and more interested in having classes of different subjects in English as a foreign language. This is a great achievement for them, the teachers and the school.
Una receta
En la materia de Integrated Learning se ha continuado trabajando en una variedad de temas considerando diversas asignaturas.
En la materia de español durante el segundo trimestre, las y los alumnos tuvieron una clase sobre cómo se estructura una receta. Además de aprender las características y los pasos que se necesitan para seguir una receta, escribieron una para hacer “Sushi dulce”. En la última parte de la clase lo elaboraron y degustaron muy felizmente. Sus comentarios fueron muy positivos.
Cuando tuvieron la clase de “Con la ciencia sí se juega” también se retomó y se recicló el tema de la receta y se utilizaron los mismos pasos para tener por escrito cómo elaborar slime.
Al pasar de los meses, las y los alumnos van sintiéndose más seguros, más confiados y más interesados en tener clases de diferentes materias en una lengua extranjera, el inglés. Esto es un gran logro para ellas y ellos, para los maestros y para el Colegio.
