Circulatory System
In 5th grade we had the opportunity to learn about the circulatory system, as well as each of its parts and functions. It was a fun and interesting experience.
First, we looked at what the circulatory system is made of. Then, we reviewed the vocabulary through a poster that we projected. After that, students shared some ideas to improve our health, and finally, they made a drawing of their own circulatory system.
What captured the students’ attention the most was understanding that everything starts from the heart, and from there, blood is sent throughout the body. They also gained a clearer understanding of the function of veins and arteries and why it is so important to maintain a healthy diet. Failing to do so directly affects the circulatory system and, as a consequence, the entire body.
El sistema circulatorio
En 5to grado tuvimos la oportunidad de aprender acerca del sistema circulatorio así como de cada una de sus partes y funciones. Fue una experiencia muy divertida e interesante.
Primero vimos de qué está compuesto el sistema circulatorio, repasamos el vocabulario por medio de un póster que proyectamos, entonces compartimos algunas ideas para mejorar la salud. Finalmente, los estudiantes realizaron un dibujo de su propio sistema circulatorio.
Lo que más atrapó la atención de los estudiantes fue saber que a partir del corazón se manda la sangre a todo el cuerpo a través de las venas y arterias de ahí lo importante de llevar una alimentación saludable. De no ser así, afectamos el sistema circulatorio y como consecuencia, a todo el cuerpo.
