Let’s go to the farm!

In the Integrated Learning class our students consolidated the vocabulary of farm animals. They recognised and named the animals that live on the farm, sang songs related to the topic and answered simple questions using ‘It is…’ and ‘They are…’. They were also able to say what their favourite animal is and draw it to make a chart with their drawings and visualise the favourite animal in first grade.

All this work was done before the visit to San Martin farm, which they enjoyed very much and where they named the animals in English in a real context.

¡Vamos a la granja!

En la clase de Integrated  Learning  nuestros alumnos y alumnas consolidaron el vocabulario de los animales de la granja. Reconocieron y nombraron los animales que viven en la granja, cantaron canciones referente al tema y respondieron preguntas sencillas donde utilizaban ‘It is…’ y ‘They are…’. También pudieron decir cuál es su animal favorito y dibujarlo para poder hacer una gráfica con sus dibujos y visualizar el animal favorito en primer grado.

Todo este trabajo se realizó previo a la visita a la granja de San Martín, la cual disfrutaron mucho y donde nombraron a los animales en inglés en un contexto real.
